I want to start growing homemade herbs for cooking, such as sage, thyme, parsley, etc. I live in an apartment that has an outside porch with a roof, could I just put seeds in sod in a planter and wait?
My family has never used a lot of herbs in cooking, but I love almost every herb I’ve tried. I would love to have tips on what herbs taste good with different foods, Also, any advice on growing my own herbs indoors would be great! Thanks!
I am growing herbs for the first time but am not sure of ways to actually use them. I am not much of a cook but would like to start cooking things that I could use my herbs. I am vegetarian to ideas that involve meat are useless on me. I am growing Thyme, Basil, Parsley, Oregano, and chives. I bought two starter kits so I am going to have A LOT of each and I have no ideas on using them. Any suggestions?
What herbs grow great indoors in a North facing window? Also any tips on growing them would be helpful!
