I have just been searching for other cookbooks by Sal Gilbertie. I have had this one since it’s publication in 1988. Since using it countless times through the years I wanted to share that the recipes are excellent. In 1988 they were way before their time. Opening the book in 1988 was like entering a new world of cooking. Opening the book in 2008 is still with the same excitement. He tells you how to grow it and how to cook with it. What more can we ask! The recipes are excellent, as is the growing information.
